We are seeking a Design Manager, Architects and Experienced Assistants for a landmark architectural project with an immediate start (more information below). 

Makower Architects is offering a rare opportunity to join a renowned international team working on a landmark mixed-use masterplan of significant scale and ambition, including detailed design of more than 10 residential blocks. This transformative project, currently in the planning stages, seeks to redefine urban living and create a vibrant, sustainable community.

We are looking for one remote Design Manager (specific job description here) as well as Architects at all levels and experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistants with a passion for innovative design and the skills to contribute meaningfully to a project of this magnitude.

Architects at all levels and experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistants

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience with large-scale residential projects, either in the UK or globally.

• Advanced expertise in Revit/BIM.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating RIBA Stages 0–3 experience (or equivalent).

• Knowledge of Technical Housing Standards NDSS, London Housing Design Guide, and Part M (or equivalent).

• Mixed-use and Residential experience, including residential layouts, accommodation schedules, and interest in interior design, master planning, sustainability, and landscape design

• Exceptional 3D design skills. Ability to produce high-quality renders and illustrative images and familiarity with Enscape is a bonus.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Strong spoken and written English (Arabic language skills are a bonus).

• Minimum of five years of Design Management experience, preferably in architecture

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage consultant teams and resolve complex technical and design challenges

• Expertise in programming, space planning, and knowledge of building codes

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 Software

• Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable

• Experience with client service and account leadership in a fast-paced environment

• High level of design competence
