We are proud to announce our design proposals, conceived with our multidisciplinary team - Aspect Studios, Light Follows Behaviour, Common Works and Velocity - for The Gateway to Clapham competition have been shortlisted. 

Organised jointly by the Clapham Society and This is Clapham (Clapham BID) this ambitious initiative aims to transform one of Clapham’s most prominent landmarks into a bold and inspiring gateway to the neighbourhood. 

Our proposal reimagines the bridge on Clapham High Street as a threshold where past and future, nature and movement, heritage and imagination meet. We proposed: using the bridge as an animated gallery to tell Clapham's history and culture; expanding the public realm and introducing greening measures to link the station to the common, road improvements to improve pedestrian and cyclist safety, a co-design process via a sustained year-long community engagement and cultural programme; as well as a ten year strategy for a phased, long-term framework.
